Bowed and Cracked Foundation Walls
Block walls tend to crack and bow inwards, especially when they are surrounded by heavy soil like we have in northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. Many times we can push the wall back to almost it's original position over a period of time by using a series of I-beam braces without having to dig up the exterior. This system works well as long as there are no issues with water leaking through the cracks in the wall.
Houses will settle over time. When settling occurs homeowners will notice cracks in the walls, doors and windows that stick and unlevel floors. When a house settles, the section that is settling needs to be lifted up and level with the rest of the foundation. At Warm and Dry, we use the DynaPier® foundation piering system.
The DynaPier® was engineered for strength and durability. It is one of the only piers that combines both steel and concrete, giving it superior strength. Read more about the DynaPier® system and learn what makes it so much stronger than the competition.
